Sleeping Beauty.

I lay beside this sleeping beauty,
Her breath was calm and steady,
I watched the way her body rose,
While deep dreams held her heavy,

Her hair shone like a golden passion,
Of red fire she was dipped,
Her face was sculpted as an angel,
With pink and glistening lips,

She twitched in bed as she was world’s away,
Reactions to visions she walked,
She spoke in an omen’s mumble,
Under enchantment our lips did lock,

She woke with the eyes of thunder coming,
Of blue sky made of slate,
I saw the siren in her,
But her smile made no mistake,

A warmth began to emanate,
She was like honey with pearls for teeth,
Her mouth opened, enchantment broken,
She said I am yours to keep.
