We each be Monsters.

Can we each not be monsters,
Do we not both hold our cards,
With differing agendas,
Sharp as blades of broken shards,
Glass we know too easily,
How shiny pretty things,
Can smash upon the pavement,
The roads that each we seek,
When tantrum takes the reins,
What really is taking hold,
Is the grip of each our monsters,
Ready to strangle before one folds.
